On Saturdays there is a Farmer's Market or Feria, as the locals call it, held not to far from our condo. The first Saturday we went, we went to far and had to ask a man working at a surf shop for instructions. Of course, we got into a big conversation with the man so we were in the hot sun for extra long. When we finally got to the Farmer's Market we went straight to looking at all the stands. There was one man selling paintings his wife made, they were very good paintings if you ask me. One stand had free chocolate samples and dipping sauces. There was even a man selling ice cream! We got in a big conversation with the Ice cream, he said that he owned the mini golf place in Tamarindo He was a nice guy, he let us have free ice cream samples. We looked around more and more until we decided we would each get a little something, I got ice cream along with Levi and Lucas and Noah got lemonade. When I finished my ice cream I started to feel dizzy and I could barely see anything nor could I hear much. All I could say was "I need water" I had a terrible headache, everything went blurry, and I could barely hear! I got into the stroller, my mom got me some water and we rode off back to our house, at our house mom gave me some protein and I felt a little better. My whole almost fainting problem was caused because, I had had a sweet breakfast and a sweet ice cream treat, I had walked a lot in the hot sun and I hadn't had any protein yet that day.
Another Saturday when we went to the Farmer's Market we did a mix of hanging out at the Farmer's market and playing on the beach. The Farmer's Market was on the beach, what a perfect location. Mom discovered a pastry thing called an empanada. Mom got an empanada from the Farmer's Market every time we went, she liked them. The last Saturday we went, we got a fresh squeezed juice of Watermelon and Lime, it was yummy! I enjoyed the Farmer's Market, it's in a great location, it has cool things to buy, plus it has some sweet treats to eat!
