I managed to gather the nerve to tackle the Louvre this morning, although it wasn't so difficult because so many people had told me about the side entrance that supposedly no one knows about (although judging by the number of people who had told me of it, I expected it to be busy) but after seeing more than one hundred people lined up at the pyramid I sought out the other entrance and lo and behold - not one single person was there! My second week with Louis was filled with adventures around Paris, a picnic in the Jardin au Luxembourg followed by hours of watching him play in the amazing playground there (filled with American children!), La Defence to search for just the right shade of green pencil for one of his bus maps and watch the buses in the underground terminal (that day earned was definitely the best for Louis!), a trip to Paris Plages - the beaches set up on the banks of the Seine...

On Saturday a couple of other au pairs I have met were heading to Versailles, so I decided it was a good opportunity to head back and brave the line to see inside the château!
