Back to work!
But first I should learn to put on a kira. Kinley came to my hotel and helped me get dressed - I hope I can remember how to do it myself now. I felt comfortable with the kira and people at the Ministry were very kind and told me that I looked good (always nice to hear ;-)) I do like the blue colour of my jacket.
At work I finished my draft of the report on my findings and my recommendations for the new course for VET trainers. I sent it off to the Ministry and they responded by asking me to make a presentation on it tomorrow at 10 am. They sent my report to people in the Ministry and asked them to come to the presentation tomorrow. I knew this was coming (from Carsten and 2 times Karma) so I had already prepared most of the Power Point Presentation and I only had to finish it.
Carsten came by at lunchtime and we decided on the dates for my next 3 missions and I just had time in the afternoon to make a suggestion for the tasks to fulfill in each mission, then it was 4 pm and Carsten came to pick me up, take me downtown Thimphu and show me some nice places to buy food ;-)

We walked downhill and Carsten pointed at the good places and just kept walking. I was wondering if he wanted to buy something or not. But finally we arrived at 8Eleven. Do you think I hit the wrong button and it should have been 7Eleven? No, I didn't. Here we have an 8Eleven! I asked Carsten why they called it 8Eleven, and he said because they didn't want to open at 7 am, but chose to open at 8 am! Very clever! I had to take a picture of that ;-) They had a lot of nice things and I bought some yoghurt, raisins, almonds and honey. I have a refrigerator in my room so I am able to keep snacks for a while :-)

We took a cab back up the hill and I ordered my dinner at the reception when arriving. The receptionist gave me a small letter and said that a gentleman was here with it. Uh exciting! Did I have a secret admirer? Would he try to contact me? It could be one of those rich Hollywood people coming here for relaxation! Maybe he had seen me in my nice kira? But alas - it was from Sangay Dorjee, the Director of one of the departments at the Ministry. He wrote that I am to check out of this hotel tomorrow at some time and move to an apartment close to the Ministry. I am looking forward to that :-) This is a great hotel, but an apartment sounds good also!
