Food - my dad has mentioned that at least 70% of my blogs discuss food, haven't actually done the maths however here's another blog on the topic of FOOD!! How many people can tell me that I actually say "food" wrong, i say fud? probably not that many of you because for all those Scottish people out there say it the same way. Does this make it wrong or just Scottish? I say the latter however saying fud to 60 11 years olds who don't have a clue what ur talking about, its about time that I learnt the art of saying words with "oo" they had much fun putting the food into a health pyramid and then doing a wordsearch, saying the word food as infrequently as possible.
Anyway another week down, it's not taking me half as long to do my lesson plans now, which can only be a good thing - and I didn't make half as many kids cry in my kindergarten lessons. The two year olds actually looked like they were having fun in my lesson this week. Brought speakers and my ipod, we played musical statues and musical bumps which worked well until they got so hyped up that when the music was playing they couldn't hear it oops, lucky I left them right after that and let the other chinese assistants sort them out lol.
Wednesday Anna,Matt and I stayed in town after classes, just to look at the shops, didn't buy anything tho but getn the bus back to the flat was rather scary, the featured photo is of the door to the bus, being held on by some rope made it back tho.
Got to watch Soren's class on thursday as he opened it up for all the foreign teachers, and also all the chinese english teachers. The lesson was really good, the class were really well behaved, probably due to the amount of teachers in the class with them. Scott's open lesson is on Monday, ever foreign teacher needs to do it, mine won't be until after the holiday, don't know what i'l be doing it on yet but sure i'l think of something.
Not been to well this week, stomach sore again so missed my mandarin class on thursday afternoon, apparently was really good lesson, they learnt haggling and numbers, and how to say it's too expensive - oh well the others said they'd go over it with me. After the lessons of Friday everyone headed out for dinner - pigs ears and nose, duck feet and frogs, then of out for drinks, I headed home after the meal, saving money and also my stomach wasn't really up for alcohol (not like me). The others returned at 2 am, had to get up to let them in, really annoying only having one key for the flat.
As long as it doesn't rain again today, were trying again at going to the park this afternoon then out for dinner with some of the chinese english teachers.
