Longer day today which tested out the siopel cream.
Wonderful chance to see the changing landscape from the Devon hills to more gentle Somerset countryside. I could not but think what a beautiful place Devon is- especially in the sunshine... May have felt differently in the driving rain...
Met 2 other groups doing the lejog cycle who were being followed by a support van kitted out as if on an Everest expedition. Didn't have a loo though.
Journey today was on minor roads on the main. Good to be able to travel the UK without going on a motorway (well that is the plan).
Met up with Rob tonight for a meal in Glastonbury - thanks Rob for great company and all the supplies for tomorrow - we won't go hungry!
Staying in attic room of a B&B called the Apple Tree. Very helpful lady has just washed our cycling clothes. Only trouble is that she hasn't returned my big red pants.....think she may find a use for them...tea cosy? Sleeping bag? Hat for a rabbit?
Today rode 72 miles, 6 hrs 1518m, 4870 calories burned
