9 rubber gloves and one made of wool!
Stayed at a great B&B last night -29 Well Street for those of you thinking of visiting Moffat.
Took the hilly yet scenic route out of Moffat today and it was beautiful. Still no rain but reckon it is coming our way tomorrow...
The journey was very varied today- we spent a couple of hours travelling through Glasgow (See pics). Managed to find our way along the Clyde river then on to the Forth and Clyde canal which took us to Loch Lomond.
Glasgow was a city full of imposing modern buildings but these were often adjacent to derelict decaying buildings. Lots of amazing designer bridges.
Had quick photo at Bankies Bike- a sculpture by John Crosbie and unveiled by round the world cycling Mark Beaumont. Didn't quite havethe energy to climb into the saddle though.
Feeling tired tonight- we have clicked up a few miles now. Time to turn in.
Robert, have you been up this way? Because as well as seeing 10 gloves, we also saw 4 cans of Red Bull squashed flat at various points of our journey. The gloves were appearing at a rate of 2.6 / hour this am.....
85 miles today, few thousand calories burned - totally justified to have a hot caramel square with ice cream and toffee sauce.

Stuart Newberry Liz and I stayed at 29 Well St shortly after the owners took over. It was a lovely place and great breakfast. Ref the gloves... start worrying if you find a hand in one... Your blog brings back great memories.
