Arranged when I'd meet vivi and Stihan then went back to my room to get showered and dressed. Spoke to the girls for a bit, was feeling nervous for my trial at Travel Bugs! Went to the bakery to get something to eat then headed to Travel Bugs for 12. That day a couple were workign there, James and Natalie, who had been there about a month and worked together on odd days in the week. Didn't really speak to James but Natalie was lovely and made me feel relaxed. She stood with me outside for most of the time as I spent two hours trying to get passers by into the shop to buy something! Had to fake a lot of confidence! Most people walking past the shop are on their way to the lagoon or back to their hostel so I thought no one wold stop - most people did just politely respond then keep walking but a few more than I thought actually stopped. Felt good when you got someone in but it was a rare occurance and the two hours really dragged by! They seemed impressed though and told me to go back for another trial with Tom the next day (Tom has more authority so had to prove myself to him next!). It's hard ebcause most people are on a mission and aren't ever going to stop but you have to look like youre doing something so you have to approach everyone! Its pretty repetative! Popped online after the trial then went to meet Vivi and Stihan at 3 as planned - but they didn't show! Said they might be at the lagoon so I did a full circle but couldnt see them - turns out they had been there, but it was busy and I just didnt see them. Felt pretty sad as I had been looking forward to seeing them. I went to the book shop though and got a couple of cheap books, then went and laid in one of the hammocks at Beaches (first one I tried was broken, thank god I realized before I fully commited to laying down like th next girl!) I ended up having a nap on the hammock which was nice, then it started to get chilly so I headed back to the room and chatted to Helen and Amy for ages about Asia. Helen, Amy and Sarah had all gone and absolutely loved it, they totally sold it to me and I set my mind on going! it's not going to happen now (money!) but I felt really excited at the time for this new leg to my travels. Went straight to travel bugs to e-mail Lauren to see fi there was any chance she was going - she was, and her timings fitted in perfectly with mine! All seemed pretty good! Went back to the room to tell the girls the news and Emma and Sarah came back and I sat chatting to them again for ages! They're such nice girls and we got along so well. Felt so nice to be with a group of girls and they were my type of girls too! They were staying in that night but I wanted to see Vivi and Stihan before they left so went to Beaches to knock on their door. I had left a note by their door earlier saying I hoped I'd see them later and they'd written one back saying they'd beheading to Phoenix, so I made my way down and bumped into them coming back towards Beaches - they'd left their ID's so had to get them. When they went back in the room Ava was there and wanted to come out too so the 4 of us went down to Phoenix. every night if you spend over $5 you get half a large Domino's pizza free which is really good so we did that ! Phoenix is only a small bar/club but the pizza deal was pretty popular so it was quite busy. Stayed in there till we'd eaten then went to Beaches fr one last drink before I headed back. The girls (they call themselves Team Travel!) were still awake so spoke to them but it wasn't long before I was fast, fast asleep.
