A very long day of travelling! Got up at 6, went back to my room, packed, put my stuff in the bus, got breakfast, checked out and said bye bye to the cattle station! Felt a shame to be leaving but ahd been such an amazing experience. Left at 7. The two hour journey back to Rockhampton was slow but ok, got off and got breakfast there, meeting with the bus that had come from Agnes Waters. We were moving onto a bigger bus to carry on to Airlie Beach but th air con had broken and it was so, so, so hot. Everyone who had got off it told us to get chanegd so we all put our shorted shorts and vest tops on. the seats were all damp with sweat, really wasn't nice!! We then drove all the way to Airlie beach, stopping off for one toilet break and one lunch break. Sonic has been a great bus driver and so much fun, he got a few games going. I was sat with Alex and chatted to her for ages, felt too hot to sleep but after lunch I tried really hard and was lucky enough to get two hours sleep! So that killed some time! Didn't arrive to Agnes Waters till 5.30pm so had been a very very long day, couldn't wait to have a shower! As its Easter everywhere is really fuill but luckily we had all booked ahead. I was going to Beaches with Alex who was meeting Sam. I wanted to be in their room but there wasn't any room, the guy at recpetion was really nice though and said he would charge me a bit less and put a matress in the room on the floor if I wanted that. Made sense to me! Otherwise i would have been the other side of the hostel. Thing is, the matress never actually arrived!! And reception was shut when I found that out... luckily there was a spare bed, not sure how that worked out but I stayed on that last night and havent mentioned anything. Hope it stays free for tonight!! Had the nicest shower ever and got ready to go out. As it was a Saturday we all made an effort :-) Went down at half 7 for our free beer Sonic had organized then I went with the bath boys and Ross and Laura to McDonalds fo some food. We then all went back to my room and played.... yep, ring of fire! Alex (guy) kept stitching me up!! Was good fun though and I managed to not drink too much!! No one could decide what they wanted to do after though. I wanted to move onto the the next bar where Sonic had organized more drinks but no one could decide what they wanted to do and got all worked up.... then it turned into a silly night.... seems to silly to go into but Sarah had seen Antonio getting with someone else and then it was all drama filled and stressy, totally blew out of proportion! I really tried to diffuse the situation but then got caught up in it so decided to just move away from it - definately the best decision!! Bumped into some girls from the cattle station and chatted to them - found out they're going to be on the same Whitsunday's trip as me so that's pretty cool!! Then saw Ross, Alex (guy), Matt and Sam and went with them to the beach where we just relaxed, was good to be away from everything. Stayed there chatting for ages and it was really nice, then went back to out hostels at 3. Hate not having a phone, bt arranged to met Alex the next day so we culd check out the lagoon - didn't want to be on my own, again!! Was so glad to see the spare bed when i got into my room!! Kept waking up in the night but still got some good sleep :-)
