GDAY to all, hope you have all been enjoying the sunshine, good job its been sunny here too otherwise i wouldnt be impressed! Not that i have seen much of the sunshine as worked Tuesday to Saturday. Did go out for lunch whilst at work though which was nice, that is the only benefit of having an hour for lunch. Paul meantime was working oin the sunshine and managed to get his back rather burnt and his legs very mosquito bitten whilst working at somebodys house in Watsons bay. Part of it was on the roof which he said had really cool views of all the city and the harbour - alright for some! Saturday night we went to Bondi as hadnt been there at night so far. Went to a restaurant called Ravesi's, its a funky place with a bar with big open winsows downstairs that knocks out some good tunes and a elegant looking restaurant upstairs which has balcony tables overlooking the beach-very nice. We then went to the Bondi hotel which is a massive pub which is quite tacky inside but the outside was nice as overlooked the beach promenade and was lit with fairy lights. The third bar was a cool place with a live jazz/soul band playing who were very good.

Sunday was a day of bright blue skies and glorious sunshine for my one day off. We went to the city and to the Sydney tower shopping mall and then to the queen victoria mall, this place is a very cool shopping centre and bought a few bits. Then went for lunch at the wonderful darling harbour, this place in the sunshine can't be beaten. We then got the ferry to circular quay, the ferries are such a good way to get around whilst doing a cheap harbour boat trip. Had a walk around and watched an english street performer fit herself in this tiny box and do all these other contortioist moves. So that was our day, had a good one.

Next week am due to work monday then 4 nights which is pretty erubbish but mam and dad are flying out on monday and get to Oz on Sunday and then have 2 weeks off with them which is very exciting and cant wait.
