SUNDAY 7TH JAN 2007 Hi people, life here in paradise is abit miserable today, its raining and raining and raining some more, has been very sunny for last two days though, weather here is very messed up. So thats why im writing this, rain isnt inspiring us to walk to the train station and get a train somewhere or go on a bike ride to an unknown destination so we are spending sunday chilling. Not that i like doing nothing, feel like we should be doing something every day as in holiday mode. Lazy Pauls quite happy though as is playing tiger woods on his psp, regretting buying that for him, although if he wasnt playing that he would find something to watch on telly. Since tuesday when last spoke havnt done that much. Wednesday we spent most of the day updating our photos which was very tedious. Thursday we hung local and opened a bank account and stuff. Friday it deceided to get sunny so we got train into sydney and picked up my registration certificate (finally) then went to bondi. For such a famous tourist spot its a pain to get to, you have to get the train and then the bus, or for us two trains then the bus. It was packed but is really big so was fine, was really sunny and quite hot but had a breeze so was fine, went in the sea but was rather cold, had dinner and came back as were covered in sand. There were loads of tourists there as expected and some of the bars looked good but were not really dressed for the occasion! Saturday went to hornsby shopping, got some new shoes so that i could where some out that would be able to bare to keep on, paul got his barnet cut and met owen and emma for lunch then he dropped us back so no walking. Last night we had deceided to go into city, owen wanted to go to so he gave us a lift, emma his daughter also came. Went to casino which is next to darling harbour, was quite cool but no match for vegas and the venitian! They wanted a buffet so we ate there which was fine. We had planned a drunken night out but didnt get out of there till 2215. They were going to go as emma is not 18 yet and couldnt get in any bars so we deceided to go too as would have had to leave at 0030 to get the last train back and then walk all for two hours longer of staying out. Had a walk around and owen showed us the outside of all the good bars in darling harbour and went home. Wasnt quite the night i had planned but was good anyway, paul keeps telling me we have got loads of time yet and will be closer to the action soon which i suppose is right but i want to do things NOW! So thats our only news, dont know what we are doing next week, weather is dodgy mon and tues but meant to be good wed, thur and fri so will see. Stuart and vanessa back on tuesday so will need to find out about paul working as the subject still hasnt been sorted which is abit worrying but will probably be fine.
