Christina didn't wake up to answer the reception mobile phone last night, so my planned lie in was a bit interrupted. Dave asked Bex where Stacey was, and then went through our bin to find the ripped up photocopy of her passport/ flight details/ plans of where she was headed. I think she took $50 from the till to pay for her deposit (she is supposed to give 3 days' notice that she is leaving) and another $12 for the commission she made on selling tours, and so he is threatening to get the police onto her. It does sound like a very silly thing to do on Stacey's part! He also pressed the button on Bex's phone to read the text conversation she had had with Stacey telling her he was going to phone her, and Stacey telling Bex not to tell him where she was- which is a bit of an invasion of Bex's privacy!
Me and Alice went to the lagoon, which was boiling hot, so it was a relief when it came to the time to meet Emilie, Hannah, Kelly and Bella from Hogs Breath for Sushi. We went to Sushi Train, which as the name suggest, is served on a conveyor belt, although I think I still prefer Yo! Sushi, despite it being pricier. Alice picked out something that had pork in, so me and her swapped dishes. The other girls said they felt stuffed despite them only having 2/3 plates each (I had 4, Alice had 3). Me and Alice went back to the Esplanade and had a Baskin' Robins ice cream (I had a 'nuts about chocolate' sundae, and Alice had a peanut butter and chocolate and coconut cone).
Due to me having the day off, I managed to participate in my first official movie night at the hostel (i.e. they cooked up popcorn). The film was batman though, which I've already seen about three times whilst being here, or parts of it at least. Then we watched the hangover 2.
