12 Mar 2013
I had decided not to book onto any tours as I wanted to use my day off (which is just a day off Hogs breath now that I am doing Mondays and Tuesdays for Bex) to relax and recover, but the rain ruined my plans off topping up my tan and going to the lagoon. Instead I did exciting things like clothes washing (I found a washing line in some shelter so that my clothes can dry even when it's raining!), watching 21 jump street and buying some St. Patricks day deely boppers to wear on Saturday and Sunday at work. Me and Jonathon (a Melbournian) wanted to go to Coles to buy the hostel breakfast items, as Tom the entertainment guy left today, so that I could make sure we got crunchy peanut butter not smooth, but Dave said he'd do it.
I managed to actually go to the trivia night at Woolshed (other weeks I was held up at work), although the hostel as a group arrived late and so only caught the first half, and learnt that dolphins are the only mammals that don't give birth to their babies head first. I was intending to just stay for the quiz and the pizza, but the change from dinner tables to tables to dance on happened so quickly that I got caught up and so stayed and brought one of the 5 drinks for $10 cards. Swedish boys are very crazy dancers!
