Today was one of those rare days where I don't have either job to do, so I woke up at 9 for the breakfast and then stayed in bed for the rest of the morning. I passed the 'free stuff' cupboard when I got up and was delighted with my new red shorts (Jade's old ones- the Scottish girl who was in our old room), pyjamas and wedge high heels (from Stacey- she thought she had sorted out all her stuff and tidied it out of our room to only find all of it back in there because I had moved it back) and jeans (I wanted to wear them for work because they give me a bit more waist space than the ones Amanda gave me, but they have rips in so are apparently unsuitable… still quite nice for colder weather though).

Me and Stacey went to Coles with a few of the boys from the hostel, but left them chatting to people we didn't know in the bakery aisle. I brought 4 lots of washing up liquid (we've ran out again, and it clearly has gone past Dave's notice) and some chuck cloths so that Dave can reimburse me for them, amongst other more personal groceries.

I tried my sentol and quarabia today. The sentol was absolutely disgusting and the quarabia was disappointing- it tasted a bit like a pumpkin and was very odd to eat as it was quite woody on the outside and had big stones in the middle.

I went to Woolworths in the evening to try and get cheap bakery items (like our old roommate Vicky used to do) but they didn't seem to reduce the muffins, but I did get a cheap slice of very nice banana bread and a dark chocolate peanut slab. Then I went to the Woolshed to take part in the trivia quiz and get free pizza- we didn't do very well and I can't think of any particularly interesting trivia I learnt.
