An early start to get to Fraser island on Friday the 13th.... got picked up by a tour bus, but it was a truck on wheels made into a bus, pretty cool. We drove through Maryborough trying to get to Tin Can bay so we could get to Rainbow beach. However we ended up driving through Maryborough and couldn't see any signs, so ended up stopping and asking for directions. The next day we left early from rest area we found , upon waking up we saw that there were three police cars on the opposite side. A little while later as we had packed up and were ready to make a move three cops came out with a guy who was just swearing at the officers but was in cuffs and put into the cop car, could still hear him swearing at the officers. We made our way over to Childer and stopped for the night. As it was getting dark and had crazy Aussie drivers tailgating me when it was raining and really foggy. So decided to pull off at a rest place and the stay the night there. There was a strange guy in a van near where we parked, we just ignored him, however he was waiting for someone, or shall I say another guy, think we found this towns dogging place….:S

Next stop was Agnes Water which was a beautiful town and also 1770 is where Captain Cook first landed and there was a tribute to him there. The view around this area was really nice and the town was quite small but really quirky. Really enjoyed spending a few hours here.
