We drove through Maryborough trying to get to Tin Can bay so we could get to Rainbow beach.

However we ended up driving through Maryborough and couldn't see any signs, so ended up stopping and asking for directions.
Then back on the road and I eventually found Tin can bay and then Rainbow beach.

We stopped at an information centre and looked into Fraser Island, looked a different place but then decided to go to the first agency and booked a Fraser island day tour which cost $155.

We then had a mission trying to find a camping permit but the office was closed. We got there just a few minutes after 4pm and the lady had just walked out but didn't acknowledge us and went straight to her car.
So was driving around trying to find a permit and then I ended up phoning and getting a permit, then found the campsite called Sarawak and stayed the night there.

It was still raining all day when we got to the campsite it slowed down and held off for a while.

Could see Fraser Island from across the campsite was quite lovely.
