An early start to get to Fraser island on Friday the 13th.... got picked up by a tour bus, but it was a truck on wheels made into a bus, pretty cool.

We drove around picking people up and then headed to the beach where we drove along and then got onto a ferry was brilliant!

We got to the other side and drove along the long beach it was absolutely brilliant! Flying across the sand at about 80km/h.
could see the mainland from the other side!

Drove in and out of creeks and stopped for breakfast. Then headed around the island, stopped at McKenzie Lake where I went for a swim, it was so cold.
But the location was beautiful.

Drove through two rainforests and also walked through one of them.
We stopped for lunch and then went back on the beach and looked at some shipwrecks they were amazing!
Also there was a whale that got washed onto the beach buy sadly died so was put to one side.
So many people stopped to take a look, but we just drove on.

Also stopped to look at different coloured sand which was pretty stunning, never seen anything like that before.
The day was horrible, raining and grey.However whenever we stopped it seemed to hold off.
The day was just brilliant really enjoyed just walking to start of a creek and laying down all the way to the bottom which attached to a sea inlet was cold at first but then you warm up was brilliant, kept getting stuck on logs and stones and had to get up and swim but was really fun!
