Next day we set off and drove a good two hours and reached Beerwah which is where Australia zoo is, most famously known to be owned by Steve Irwin's family, Steve tragically died a few years ago, he was attacked by a stingray. So his wife turned this into a memorial tribute in his name, Steve Irwin, the crocodile hunter. It was expensive to get in at $59 but was really worth it, saw so many animals, from birds, crocs, koalas, giraffes, rhinos, turtles, elephan...

We made our way to Mudjimba, where a local woman in the information centre told us to go as there was a free rest area. So we headed this way before dusk and chilled before it got dark. After cooking some food Ed and I went and sat on the beach at night, it was so peaceful, could hear the ocean's waves and then ahead the lights of the next town. Was a shame it wasn't a clear night, would have been lovely to see the stars.

Stopped at another beach called the sunshine coast, it was a little chilly but the sun was out so felt like a typical British summer. Lots of people were down on the beach surfing, some just sitting a reading. Driving down this part of the east coast has been beautiful the scenery is really nice but gets the same after a while, the beaches are really white and beautiful and you can swim without fearing that you're going to get eaten by a crocodile, however the...

Got to Noosa was a really nice place and beach. The sun came out and was a much better afternoon compared to the morning. Spent a few hours walking around the coastline, through a little jungle, mud and pavements, some spectacular views around. Then had an ice cream and headed more down towards the Sunshine coast.

later that evening headed back from Fraser Island and came back to Rainbow beach, the weather was still horrible. Met Laura who came to the campsite with us and her friend. That night we just chilled as were really tired after a whole day of activities. The next morning we drove around rainbow beach to have a look however it was too foggy so couldn't see much, so decided to drive on.
