Today Ray has gone fishing with a guide, l hope that he catches a fish as he was pretty excited about going. The weather is good today as it is clear and sunny and I can see the mountain called Machhapuchhare from sitting on the terrace outside of our room. It is the only mountain that has not been climbed as it is not permitted( although I think maybe some have climbed it secretly as you know what climbers are like he he).
As Ray is out all day l thought that I would have a pamper day ad we had electricity this morning, so had a lovely hot shower and washed my hair, then when I got the hairdryer out we have had yet another power cut, so l am sitting out side waiting for it to dry. Yet another bad hair day lol.
Yesterday we confirmed and paid for our accommodation at the next places we visit. They are more expensive than pokhara and Kathmandu as the smaller places are not on line, but we did not want to arrive and spend half the day looking for some where to stay. Saying that it is far cheaper than the UK. Now we have just got to get to these places by local bus.
We discovered a nice little Newari restaurant and treated ourselves to some Nepali tea, we looked at the menu and thought that we would go back for evening meal as the prices looked good. They always add 10% service charge but when we paid they had charged more than the menu price before adding service charge so we did not go back.
The other night Ray saw a calzone pizza for the first time, l cannot belive he had never seen one before. So we ended up in an Italian restaurant so he could give one ago, he enjoyed it and would have one again.
We collected our silver rings yesterday mine has Ray on it and Rays has Hev with a heart at either side of our names( how soppy is that).
When my hair finally dries, l will go for walk and treat myself to some Nepali tea and maybe this evening when Ray gets back we might have some momos as l have seen cheese and veg and also tandoori ones. The other day l purchased a little momo mould so shall be having a go at making some when l get home.
