So this morning I had organised with the boys that they would come up and 'move in' with me down here at Leggies. However, due to the standard poor organisation I didn't have a clue what time they would turn up.
I had rolled out of bed about 8:30am, had my breakfast, and basically spent the rest of the morning like yesterday...in the pool and reading my book. It was extremely humid with the heat today, and just sitting in the shade I was swearing a silly amount.
Just after I had eaten my lunch about 1pm, I was sat reading on the balcony from my room when I heard a familiar voice. The boys had rocked up and wandered though without me noticing before Charlie started singing out! It was SO good to see them again, but also kinda wierd as it was in Bali rather than Aus. Charlie and Danno set up camp in my room as there is a double and a single, and Daveo and E-Man were in the room next door.
As youd expect we stood around sorting out boards and gossiping about the end of their time at Spot X, and what I had been up to in Bali. Despite how ridiculously metal there last week was, I found myself being actually more than happy to have done my own thing and not hung around at the camp any longer.
Having sorted all the boards we had lunch, sorted out scooters and then headed straight off to Nusa Dua to go for a surf. The boys were super keen to get in the water after partying hard in Kuta, and it suited me perfectly to go for a surf with good mates again, rather than by myself.
The ride there was pretty funny, especially as its Charlie's 2nd day on a scooter, and we got to Geger Beach to find it was shoulder high cleanish surf. We got a boat out to the reef and had I had a brilliant time. It made me realise how much I had missed the banter and shouting to people as they got waves or washed around on the inside.
The light was starting to fade, and it was super super low tide exposing the reef, so we called it a day and headed in, when it all went wrong. Long story short by the time we got back to the beach E-Man had all his fins smashed out on the reef and Charlie had a chunk of coral in the bottom of his foot.
The scooter ride back was much easier, despite it getting dark on the way. As we were all starving as soon as we were back we got dinner and just sat around chatting.
After dinner we attempted playing cards, but an almighty thunderstorm broke out and torrential rain was getting us soaked despite being under cover in the eating area. Instead we all bailed, dossed about on the Internet for a while and went to bed.
