So this morning it was the normal routine, waking up about half 8 and having breakfast etc. Dan, Charlie and I wanted to surf Green Bowl, but E-Man and Daveo wanted to surf Ulus. In the end we went our separate ways, with E-Man and Daveo going right after breakfast, while the rest of waited for the time to drop a bit. About an hour later we set off for a surf too.
We got there to find the surf was bigger than expected, which made a nice change as it hadn't much more than 3-4ft for a while recently. We paddled out into the line up and sat amongst about 10-15 others, making it probably the busiest we has seen it there.
We surfed for about 2 and a half hours, and it was mostly about 5ft, but one of the best sets must have been closer to 7ft. I got 1/2 really fun ones which peeled away down the reef, but they were tame compared to some of the waves a bunch of Aussies took. One of them got SO barrelled and came out pretty much stoop up straight. Although I definately didn't get wave of the day, it was awesome to watch some of the others.
By the time we actually got back to Leggies it was about 4pm and we were all winding down after a days surfing. We didn't do much worth mentioning for the rest of the day, just kicked back and watched a couple of episondes of 'Game of Thrones' after dinner.
