Felt a little more awake this morning than I did most of last week. I've decided not to get to school so early, as I was becoming the early kid, eager to start learning... how to apply makeup...

This morning's demonstrations started with another smokey eye tutorial, this time with lighter colours, followed up with me in the demo chair, to model how to cover up tattoo's for film, TV and fashion. As you can see from the photo, Alan has pretty much dissappeared. It stung a lot less getting it removed than it did inking it in, and also, much cheaper.

Arthur was next in the chair to assist in the male make-up demonstration, in which he looked a tad uncomfortable. At least he didn't have to wear lots of makeup this time.

Afternoon practice session started and we had an hour or so each to create a look on our partners. Today I was with Marlene, who was already set up straight after lunch, and ready to make me look fabulous. I was kind of hoping that she'd have a go at the male makeup and save me just a little embarrasment for one day, but she chose not to. She did her best with my face, and I came off looking quite sexy. Something about a smokey/satin effect that really brings out my eyes......

My turn, and I basically did the same with different colours. Looked alright though I thought.

Managed to get some photos printed off from the shop up the road, of makeup's I applied last week, and I even bought a folder with some nice plastic wallets to store them in to start building up my portfolio (not that this is necessarily the area of makeup that I want to go into.) I'll need to get them printed off again though, as I was trying to save money, and they all came out really small. b*****.

The sculpting is going well, although it's a much slower progress than before as it's pretty much refining the features, trying to keep it anatomically correct as possible. I should be texturing by Thursday, so I'll hopefully be a bit more finished tomorrow night. I only have 3 nights of it left.

I managed to get an early train back and was all showered with plenty of time for homework catch-up. I maybe should have done some rather than chatting for ages. Possibly tomorrow instead...

Tomorrow, Ill be in a stage makeup designed by another student. Apparently, I'm going to be a fairy... just what I always wanted to be when I 'grew up'.
