Today was definitely a recovery day after our sleepless weekend in Paris. Jackie was sick and had to stay home from classes, and Laurel and I accidentally slept through our alarms and didn't get up until noon. Lucky we have late classes! We took it easy today, just attended classes (luckily we had no tours today!), went to the grocery store, then came home and made a fabulous dinner! And it contained carbs, meat, AND vegetables! Something that is completely unheard of in Italy. When ordering a meal you get one, maybe two of those options, but never three, unless you want to buy two plates. It was delicious, and now we are taking an easy night in, writing the summaries we have due in our classes, and getting a good night's sleep. Buonnanote!
