Today was a completely action-packed day from begining to end.
Yesterday in our Italian Cinema class, me and two classmates were assigned the first group presentation - due Thursday. We had volunteered for this because we wanted to get ours out of the way (one group presents every week and you only present in one group). So, we went to the University early to begin working on our presentation. Then, after Cinema, our Culture class was cancelled so we could go on a Roman Holiday tour with the whole group. We viewed the significant historical landmarks featured in the movie along with the others we passed along the way. This included the mouth of truth, an ancient theater, and an amazing skyline view of all of Rome. I took absolutely too many pictures, it was a bit rediculous how much of a tourist I was today, but I dont even care because everything we saw and experienced was absolutely breath-taking. We then ate dinner near the city center -- I of course had to experience local foods: Pasta cochio e pepe, italian lamb, house wine and house-made chef's special dessert of the day, a pastery with marmelade. The meal was absolutely to die for! Post-dinner we got lost trying to go home because the tram wasn't running and we had to take the bus. When finally at home we finished our project! So. Many. Things. Done. Today.
I of course am going to upload alllllllll the pictures from today, and then maybe another day when it's not 2AM and I can actually remember all the names when I'm not delirius I will go back and put titles on the significant landmarks. Buonnanote!
