Saturday I got up at 7 and went to McDonald's on Kensington High Street for a bagel and coffee before leaving for Canterbury and the castle. Leeds Castle was amazing! I think it's my absolute favorite place that I've ever been to. There's so much open space and beautiful land all around it. Yesterday I skipped class to go to the Royal Observatory with Katie and Caitlyn, but it closed early, so we went to the Kenwood House instead. It's a beautiful manor north of London filled with paintings. There are also tons of walking and riding trails around the huge estate. I took the Eurostar under the English Channel and it only took about 2.5 hours to get to Paris from London. Our hotel was nice and near a metro station.
