Wimbledon was the best! I had no idea how big it actually was. They have at least 16 tennis courts that I counted. Our guide said they have grass, clay, and American courts. He took us all throughout the club. We got to sit in the Royal Box at Centre Court too. It's so hard to become a member. First to apply you have to have a recommendation from 4 people of the same gender as you who are already members! There's more to the application, but basically it's tough to get in to. They only take 1 or 2 new members every year out of 1,000 applicants! But once you're a member it only costs 100 pounds (or $200) a year to belong to the club. Not such a bad deal.
The Wimbledon Museum was pretty spiffy as well. There were a lot of old uniforms that players from the past had worn and they showed the style of tennis clothing for men and women over the decades. The museum is a nice size for only covering Wimbledon.
Last night Christa and I got bored and went to the Kensington cinema and saw The Painted Veil. It was a really good movie. The seating there is so different. It probably sits 30 people and the chairs are nice and comfortable. It's a small room and the screen is about half the size of the ones at home. I liked it though, it made it cozy.
I'm tired and hungry and I need to go to bed. We're going to see Trooping the Colour tomorrow and we want to get good seats to see the Queen!
