Walking a couple of miles west of our place, we saw some fabulous sights today. One of the best was the Louvre, which used to be a palace and is now one of the best and largest art museums in the world. It's where you can see DaVinci's Mona Lisa and the famous statue of Venus (minus her arms). The glass pyramids (in this photo and in the accompanying photo album; click on photos above) were added in recent years. We didn't go into the museum on this trip, but we had a good tour of it during our last visit to Paris.
