Round the world in 150 days
Not quite at Villa Mayor but have been walking all morning. Last night had a fantastic meal at the albergue i stayed at with local wine and produce.
I walked for about 3 hours before i could find breakfast because these crazy spaniards do not wake up till around 10.00am. Then i bought a baguette that looked like a thing of wheat. This baguette looked really cool and i thought it would be good because it had about 15 bits that i could break off. Very convenient. Yes, until i cut myself 4 times!!! I've never cut myself on bread before. And today... 4 times!!! They actually bled too. Now i'm searching for a laundrette and i cannot find one anywhere.
Finally made it to Villa Mayor de Monjardin. It poured for about half an hour and i got completely soaked but it was kind of nice.
There were a few crazy old Spanish men, 2 hungarians, a German woman and an Austrian guy who had learnt english from some New Zealander friends and has a serious New Zealand Accent. It is hilarious.
Chris, the classic hungarian has white blonde hair and ice blue eyes and has to duck his head so as not to hit the rafters in the Albergue. You don't realise how tall he is until he stands up. Well over 6ft and very thin.
I slept in the attic because i can open the window wide up and leave it open all night. My sleeping bag is SO hot that i've had a few nights of constant sweating. REVOLTING!!!
