Two days alone before our last guests, Erik and Agnes arrives, and we wanted to do as much as we could before they came so we could just spend time with them.

Yesterday we went to Princes Street for some last shopping. Just some souvenirs for the family and absorb Edinburgh for the last days. Then Matthijs called and wanted us to join them for a trip to the beach since the weather was great. Of course we said and met up with Julia on the bus which would take us to Portobello, one of our favourite places. We enjoyed the walking barefoot on the beach, screaming when our toes touched the cold waves, and some nice ice cream. A day like that was needed before all the packing panic.

So today was a tough day. We realised after some time packing that it would be best if we bought a new suitcase here in Edinburgh instead of buying it in London as planned. So we ran around town again to find a suitcase and after two hours we had no other choice than to buy it at PRIMARK. So we went home for some final packing and dressing up for the last date with our friends Julia, Matthijs and Kees.

The evening was sad, we tried to enjoy sitting at a pub and listen to live music but we were all thinking of saying good bye which is hard since we do not know when we will meet again. So after some drinks and songs we said good bye and its defintely not my thing at all. Tears and promises that we would try to meet again soon. We will make it happen!
