Okay, so there's been a while since I (Rikard) last posted something for you up here, so I figured now was the time to do so.
A lot has happened since last, I have done my first three days of training at the Casino and also I worked my first day there this past Saturday (1th of February) and it went pretty well. I shan't lie there was a lot to have in mind when dealing poker to nine "amateurs", they we're all pretty good. But even though it was a bit of pressure I think I did well and I have one more day of training this week before I have my second shift. On the other hand I do, since last Tuesday, have one more job, as a Customer Advicer at Vue Cinema. So at the moment I' trying to book an introduction with them as well which seems to be more difficult then i thought..
Whilst I was sitting at the Casino dealing poker (which I've done Wed-Sat) Rebecca on the other hand has been up to alot as well. I can start with to tell you that Rebecca and I had plans to see the new blockbuster - The Wolf of Wall Street.. unfortunately our plans were destoyed when the cashier at the cinema (same company as I will work for) refused us tickets since Rebecca had forgotten her ID, let's be honest it wasn't the best night out... but luckily Rebecca got the oppurtunity to see it with her study buddies when I worked so it all worked out in the end, and on my 11hr shift during Saturday Rebecca had a nice night out with her friends again (I feel a bit as if I'm missing out here!) and the night before (Friday) we all had a fun night on a nerd themed night club!
Yesterday our plans was to go to Portobello which is a part of Edinburgh with a lovely beach walk, but we thought that the weather would change and that we would have been soaked from the possible rain that we thought would come... it didn't come, but we went to IKEA and had some (not so) SWEDISH MEATBALLS(!!), and when we got home we got som company for "fika" from Matthijs and Kees at our flat. So the weekend was overall pleseant.
Well, that's what I've been up to the past week and a half and I ensure you there'll be more to come from both me and Rebecca.
I can also tell you that the picture for this post is the view from our living room.
Peace & out,
Rikard
