So as you read in our previous post, we had guests last weekend and so was the case even this weekend.
This thursday my Mum and Sister came to visit. So 9:30 AM me and Rebecca sat on the bus to go out to the airport to meet up with our visitors. They arrived without any problems, that I know of. But nevertheless, we started the day with luxury breakfast before Rebecca headed out for school and me and the guests went to the National Museum (standard place to take guests!). We took a really interesting free(!!) tour about the Vikings impact on Scotland.
When Rebecca finished school we met her to have lunch a "The Birthplace of Harry Potter" a.k.a The Elephant House, unfortunately they do quite ordinary (but good) food.
The next day we took our favorite tour of Old Town: "Sandemans Free Tours", and don't get me wrong we don't prefer it 'cause it's free, we prefer it 'cause it's really good! And I got the feeling that both my Mum and Sis liked the tour as much as me and Rebecca did. YAY! :D
After the tour we went back home and made some dinner, we made "kurrykyckling" wich is sogood you won't believe it! After dinner we went strolling through Edinburgh and ended up at St. Andrew's Square where we took the picture for this post - beautiful!
Saturday was the day we went shopping (you gotta take at least one day per visit for this) and I think they liked Primark (where we take all our guests, except Simon) and Mum ended up buying some clothes!
After shopping we had planned for a cinema visit followed by dinner nearby. And I can tell you that The Grand Budapest Hotel is as good (if not better) the second time as well, and the burger place next door to the cinema still had amazing burgers!
Sunday was quite compact for our guests, we only had time for a quick peek at the castle before it was time to take the airbus and then sadly say good bye to them. :( but we'll see them again luckily!
That's all for now, see you soon!
