So this tuesday was the 4th of march, or according to christian tradition the tuesday after "Sunday before Lent". Around the world it's common that you eat pancakes this day, hence "pancake day" which is celebratet in the UK and US amongst others, but in Sweden we have a different tradition - we eat Semlor!
If you don't know what a "Semla" is I do really recommend you to find out, try to find a Scandinavian bakery och Swedish bakery werever you might be. It's a total game changer!
Anyway, lucky for us we had found a place in Edinburgh who made Semlor and we obviously had to introduce our newfound friend from Holland, Germany and USA to this divine pastry.
So we hosted a "fettisdagen"-party with a bunch of Semlor and nice company. And to our great relife they all enjoyed it, even so much that they wanted more! Unfortunately we didn't have more just then :( but we're leaving it open for a "fika" soon at Peter's Yard to consume Semlor!
I think that's all for now, hope you'll enjoyed!
