Tuesday : sunny
Didn't wake up too well this morning, I was coughing for most of the night and had a sore throat. Still we needed to get up, check out and move camp.
We headed to our new hotel to meet Kim's uncle Bob and cousin Will. Bob and Will were shouting us a room at the hotel. We couldn't wait to checkin and see what this 5star hotel had to offer.
The fellas were eating breakfast already, their body clocks had kicked in and were up early. Probably for the best, it was going to be a big day for them. We joined them for breakfast and it was our first buffet breaky in a while, and we loved it!
They had told us what happened after their late arrival at the airport, the dodgy taxis, and the dark back streets they took to get to the hotel. Asia can be a shock when you first arrive that's for sure. Seemed like they had the same run as Jordan and Nissa did when they arrived.
Kim and I had a list of personal and trekking items that might be of some use to the boys. We checked out what shopping and organizing needed to be done and headed out into the streets.
It was a big day, but somehow we managed to get all the trekking gear, rented and bought, supermarket shopping and personals in the bag. They even got their trekking permits, park passes and return flights thanks to our local man Laxman.
By the time we finished the running around it was 9pm for the boys (Aussie time) and they were feeling it. It was now time for everyone to relax with a good massage and then sauna and spa at the hotel, it was a perfect way the unwind after a day of running around.
Then we went out for a nice Nepali set menu dinner at Thamel house, which we ate sitting on the floor, and there were plenty of laughs and stories told.
The boys were not done yet, we went for a walk about the main street to show then around. We Visited a few shops, where Kim bought a new book.
We got back to the hotel and packed our bags, we are leaving for Chitwan in the morning.
