Tuesday : sunny

Well we didn't have to go far for our sunrise this morning, we never left the bedroom, another top display this morning.

We packed up and went down for breakfast then we paid our bill and hit the trail nice and early.

We had an hour climb out of Ghorepani to a hilltop with more fantastic views of the mountains. They were much the same as on top Poon hill, but we were much closer to three particularly nice looking mountains.

After the hilltop we walked down into a forest, full of big old moss covered trees. It was a good walk today probably the best so far of this trek. We stopped and had a coffee break alongside a nice creek, our next break was at the next overnight village Tadapani 2830m. Tadapani is out of the forest, and would have a great view of more mountains if the clouds weren't there.

We got some lunch, and then spent the rest of the arvo talking to other trekkers and playing cards.

The clouds cleared up a bit after dinner, revealing the full moon. It looked awesome, but hopefully they go completely tomorrow morning for sunrise.
