Sunday : sunny, rain
We were suppose to get up early and meet the kiwis to watch a union game at Tom and Jerry's pub just around the corner. That pub said that it would open up early for them to watch the game. But we packed up and went to find a new hotel instead, we went and saw the second half of the kiwis beat the Canadians after we found a hotel for $6 per night.
After the game we had breakfast across the road from the pub. This place had great coffee, and the food wasn't too bad either.
We had a short walk around and made our way back to the hotel to checkout and move to our new one just at the end of the road. Seems like it will do the job, not as nice but it's much closer to everything and much cheaper too.
We got settled and I looked at the maps I bought last night. At the union game we made plans to meet the group at 1pm, back at the old hotel. To go for a walk to Dubar square to check out a festival party that might be taking place.
So that's what we did, we stopped off at a bottleshop to pickup some beers and chips to have back at the old hotels garden before we went walking.
We went for our walk and it was busy, the traffic was crazy in the little streets. We got to the square but there was no party going on today. Doesn't matter the walk was a good one, we got to go down some different streets, always good to do that.
We were getting hungry on the way back so we decided to head back to a restaurant and have a late lunch. Sat down just in time too, the rain had started to bucket down. We ended up having a long break with drinks, watching the rain and talking.
By the time we left it was dark, we went back to the old hotel and made plans to meet the kiwis in the lobby to see off Jordan and Nissa. then get some dinner after the goodbyes.
Nissa and Jordan were already checked out so we just went back to another bar to have a few more last drinks.
It was a good last talk but the time came to unfortunately see them off. too soon I say, sad to see them go, it was good to have some different company.
After the Bon voyage, the Aussies and kiwis went to grab a feed. We found a place with the kitchen still running. The food was good but we still needed more beers. So off the reggae bar and got stuck in.
While we were there we may have seen Jordan and Nissa's plane take off. We chatted and drank the night away, and then it was time to say goodbye again to more people.Rob and Coren were up early tomorrow to get a plane to Bangkok.
Kim and I were alone once more, to keep on truckin. We got back to the hotel. No plans for tomorrow just to plan our movements.
