OK, I want to be restrained here but I am so f****** angry I am not sure I will be able to do so. Woke this morning at 5.30 to discover that someone had stolen my boots. A Dutch lady has just said that if we believe in karma then whoever stole the boots will get blisters. Not sure if I do believe in karma but if I see someone with them on their feet they will get a bust nose. 100km in flip flops.

Aaahhh, Saturday's. Doesn't really matter where I am in the world but I seem to revert to the same practice wherever I am. Today we start the day with a 2.5km climb to the summit of O Cerebrio before descending for 20km to the village of Triacatela. Beautiful countryside stretching as far as the eye can see and possibly our first sight of Santiago ...... or not. Within 50 metres of Laguna we enter a cloud. For 20km all we see is fog,wet fern and cow kak. Apparently there were great views over Galicia but we must have mist it.... O Cerebrio is lovely, albeit shrouded in cloud. ...
