Today started another three day weekend. A couple of us decided that we wanted to go to Rome and shop a little before we hit Milan next week. We set off for Rome in the early afternoon and began the adventure of finding Milan clothes.. of course that would be difficult since they say that Milan fashion in crazy and you will always end up standing out in the crowd no matter what your wearing. We spent a good chunk of the day shopping and then one of the girls wanted to stop by a couple of churches that we had not seen as a group already on our many trips to Rome. So we visited the one that was closest to the shopping streets we were on. It was beautiful inside the church, the one we ended up going to is apparently the only gothic church in all of Rome. I just loved the elephant statue out front of it. Once we were done in Rome, we headed to Termini (the train station) to grab some food before catching train back to Albano.
