Can't believe this had been my last full day in Brisbane!! Feel's like I have been here for ages, and it's been so different staying in a house, travelling by car (well, SuperSteph van!), having internet, a kitchen, my own room!!! Definately could stay longer but I guess I have a lot more to see and do! Had been naturally waking up early so couldn't believe it when it was half 10 when I woke up! had slept well but had lots of weird dreams :-/ Put a wash on and got some brekkie then it was the mammoth effort of sorting through my stuff and trying to pack it! My bag really is tiny, much smaller than most peoples but I probably have the same amount of stuff as them! Packed the clothes I had and it was nearly full.... thats without the clothes in the wash, shoes and toiletries! That will be fun tommorow morning.... not! Going to leave some things here, like some tights (wayyy too many, god knows what I was thinking), my old sandles (rip, I loved them but have to accept they're ruined) and my dress from my 19th. Wont make much of a differance but no point carrying around stuff for the sake of it and I wont miss any of it really. Took ages to pack as I was properly sorting stuff out. At 1 we and Steph went into the city. Steph had some time to use up on her dongle so we parked by Three Monkeys in the West End and she went and did some work in there while I had some time in the city. It was a beautiful sunny day and then all of a suddn, from nowhere, it absolutely CHUCKED it down with rain!! No idea where it came from! (Ok smart arses who said the sky, you know what I mean) Most people ran and hid under bus shelters etc but I just embrassed it and it was quite nice, was absolutely soaked through within seconds.... bad day to wear black bra / white top though! Took about 20 mins to get to Queen Street Mall and by the time I got there the rain had cleared. I don't know why I went to Queen Street :-/ I had planned to sunbathe on the South Bank but obviously wouldn't have been the same in the rain.... only had an hour and a half and I think I just wanted to feel like I had seen the city properly as I am used to staying the center of places. Obviously, Queen Street was no different to last time haha, so it was a long walk for nothing really! It's the main street so I have seen everything really. I did go into a few shops but that wasn't a great experience.... have wanted some high waisted shorts for ages and found the perfect pair, so comfortable, exactly what I was looking for, good price..... but I looked absolutley awful in them!! So gutted. Walked up and down Queen Street then decided I would head back to the Southbank. Would have liked to have looked round there again but didn't have time, but, again, I have to remember it wouldn't have been any different! So headed back to Three Monkeys and met Steph and had a milkshake and the delicious chocolate cake... wasn't as nice when I was trying to eat a whole piece to myself!! Still amazing though, and a nice treat for my last day in Brisbane :-) Really is a lovely cafe and we watched some YouTube vids in there then popped to the supermarket before heading home. I was helping Steph at at the Albion again this evening, so we had a practise of the act! I then spoke to mum on Skype which was lovely, it's my Great Granny's funeral today so I was glad I got to speak to mum. I then got ready to go out, made my dinner and watched the Oz Deal or No Deal, which Dave said I had to see! It's really different, can't decide if I like it.... not the same without Noel! We left at 6 and it was just the same as last week so I don't need to go into detail for you! I didn't feel I performed as well as last week though, I worried I was too near the stage when Steph selected me and it made me feel like I had messed up, just felt more self conscious this time. Hope it looked ok! We stayed behind to watch everyone else, saw a new guy and some new bits I hadn't seen so I was glad we stayed. Came back home and I made a to do list for tommorow morning so, hopefully, I don't forget anything. Came online for blogs and e-mails etc, can't believe it's 1am though :-s Getting up at half 7 so should really go to sleep! Night!
