Great day at Seaworld! As I predicted, last night I got distracted after writting my blog and this time I spent ages looking at clothes websites - I miss shopping in England and as getting bored of the clothes I have with me!! Still, didn't go t bed too late and slept really well :-) Woke up at half 8, got up and had some brekkie then checked if Mike was online and he was! Was such good timing as just as I got through to him on Skype his alarm on his phone went off - he had been sleeping and had set an alarm to turn his computer off if I hadn't come on by half 11 (his time). So that was lucky! Had a lovely chat with him, could not believe it when it was half 10! Said bye bye and let him sleep, then got up and washed my hair. Took ages to dry as always but by half 11 we were ready to hit Seaworld! Took us about an hour to get there, last time I had been it was cool but I wasn't overly mpressed, but this time I really enjoyed it! Turns out we had missed sooo much previously. We got in and headed to the penguins, then walked along a little beachy bit I hadn't seen, looked at the dolphins then went round to the polar bear. We then walked through the Sesame Street kids area which I hadn't been to, and there was a show going on so me and Stpeh sat to watch that - it was definately aimed at kids but it was actually really good fun! Really uplifting so the kids at the fron were soo cute. And who wouldn't want to see giant fluffy Sesame Street characters dancing around on stage?! After that show we were in a great mood (oh, and the sun was out!!) and headed over to the sealions in time for the show! I absolutely love sealions and was gutted I had missed them last time, but the show was brilliant! It was an actual story acted out with proper actors but there were 2 sealions in it too! The were so wel trained and it was reallly funny, it was a detectie type show and they had one of the sealions as a detective and he was copying the actors, pretending to search for things, doing silly actions, even giving someone mouth to mouth! Was really funny, the sealions were amazing. One even jumped out of a window at one point, into the pool! So that was great, we then went to Sea Viper, the rollercoaster I hadn't got to go on last time. We didn't queue for long and by luck got to go on the front seats!! Was a pretty good roleroaster! It was then time for the Dolphin show! I loved it last time and this time it was just as good, they did a few different things so that was cool :-D We went to this massive water play area which looked amazing, wish I was in my bikini! They had a pirate ship ride when you all have water guns and shoot eachother, then a big piirate ship with rope bridges and stuff, a pool.... looked awesome, wish I was 9 again! Went to the stingray bit, another bit I hadn't seen before which was a big pool full of rays and you got to touch them! They felt like jelly, really weird but I loved them! Some were huge but they're were some really cute baby ones too. We then went round to the Jet Racer, which I loved before, but had forgotted HOW good it was! We were super flukey because we were front seats again!! Was absolutely awesome, so quick and being at the front was amazing. We ended up going on it twice more (not front seats again, were not THAT lucky!) it was that good. We then headed over to Shark Bay and to the rock pools, which again I hadn't seen last time, where ou could touch the animals in then. We then went over to the shark pool for a bit before heading home. Think the rollercoasters took it at of me because I fell asleep on the way home! Got in and did the frst half of this blog then got changed and had dinner. We then headed to Fortitude Valley, had to park miles away from the main bit, where we wandared around the main street which was pretty nice! I got a milkshake (think i am addicted!) then we had a look at Chinatown, which was just like any other! Think thy are taking over! Petersfield will have one next! Then went to a comedy night at a pub where one of Steph's friends was. It was open mic and there were lots of nervous looking students! I bumped into a girl i had met in New Zeland who lived in Brisbane so that was weird! We stayed for 3 acts then went back to the van and down to Kangaroo Point where Steph was meeting some people she goes rollersating with. They had just finished a session and most people were leaving when we got there but we spoke to a nice guy called Mark. Headed back home after a while where I messed around with my hair for ages, so bored of it I need a new style! Then got ready for bed, made a list of all the things I need to do tommorow before heading off on Friday and here I am in bed ready for my penultimate sleep in this lovely lovely bed! Night xx
