Hello!!! Sorry I didn't upload this sooner, I keep getting distracted by things which I really need to get better at. Right at this moment, I am aching an insane amount from a complete fail of a workout session Jenny adn I had yesterday, I think we've discovered that we both suck at exercise in general (That and the insanity was just that; insane. I think we'll stick to Zumba). Now, I have had a REALLY cool/embarrassing day today, however you're gonna have to wait to hear about that, because today I'm gonna be talking about last saturday!
So basically, there was this event with Jenny's university which was kind of like an 'Apprentice' type thing; her course was split up into groups and they each had to come up with their own stall selling some type of fast food (hot dogs, nachos, pizza etc.) and then a load of kids were given fake money to spend at the event and the winner is whoever made the most profit. Jenny's group were doing hot dogs, and because it was an event for kids I was enlisted to be a sort of entertainer/face-painter/random girl who dresses in bright colours and gets kids to come to our stall, which was really fun!!
It was at a beach-side hotel, which was really nice although we discovered they'd given 3 people a one bed room, the food was icky and the drinks not much better, but other than that it was a fairly nice place! To be perfectly honest I wasn't actually meant to be staying there for any time more than the event, rather than the half a day and lunch the next day that I ended up being there for, whenever someone important/confused as to why I was there came over to me I pulled the whole confused eyes "Lo siento, no hablo mucho espanol" and they looked kind of sympathetic and went away. Being foreign rocks sometimes.
We got our whole stall, cookers and everything set up, getting the hot dogs and stuff cooking for when kids arrived, and I got changed into my bright blue flowery dress, purple tights, heels, pigtails and bright make-up and we were all set to go! I had a load of little bubble blower things and had to go up to the kids as they arrived, telling that if they came and bought from our stall, they'd get free bubbles. I did that for a bit, then went and cracked out eh face paints which was a lot of fun, and I learnt a lesson I will NOT forget: If you try to facepaint a baby, they will not like it at all, and shall wail and throw a tantrum until you withdraw the paintbrush from their cheek, making it very difficult to do even the simplest heart, or star. I also learnt that their mothers will insist you try and do it anyway. Seriously, I had MULTIPLE mothers actually hold their baby's face whilst it was wailing so I could manage to paint a shoddy, wobbly heart because it's so fricking difficult when the baby is constantly trying to escape.
Other than that, the facepainting was very fun, and I ended up myself with a cat nose and whiskers, having mainly painted on the children those, butterfiles, hearts and stars, and my one attempt at a skull and crossbones on Jenny's boyfriend being one of the biggest facepainting atrocities the world has ever seen. Everything wrapped up, and I think our stall did pretty well; We'd sold ALL the hot dogs, ALL the toys/bubbles we had for the kids, and Jenny had gone mad, selling all the napkins and foam plates and even, to my despair, the facepaints! After selling pretty much everything we could get away, I sure as hell hope Jenny's group won the challenge...
But anyhoos! Ima go see if I can get these awful aches and pains gone somehow, and I'll let you know about me exciting day asap!! Till then

Ma Hope you feel better, but aches and pains means the workout wasn't a failure! No pain, no gain.
