Visited a mosque today. Had to take off my shoes and wear a bright orange cotton wrap around before I went in. They also charged you for taking your camera in, so i strategically hid mine in my pocket and pretended I didn't have one - cos I'm saving my money to buy an elephant :)) After the mosque we had a rush-kart experience. The rush-kart was a little enclosed bench on top of a bicycle rode by one of the local Indian men. It was very fast and very scary. If you hung a limb out of the side it would be whipped off by a scooter or another rush-kart coming the other way. I banged my head a few times when it dipped down a pot hole. Currently at a famous restaurant having a nice meal. Now off to the over-night sleeper train to Daramasala which takes 12HOURS in total!! Zzzz! Plenty of time to catch up on some much needed sleep.
