The start of the proper trekking commenced today with a 6am start. We started with a very steep ascent from 1500m to just below 2600m once we reached the top. The views as always were incredible, and although it was a very tough trek I enjoyed every minute of it. Stopped for lunch at the peak of the pass after 5hours trekking and had pasta salad. Another 3 hours decent and we were at camp where a glass of hot rum punch was waiting for us to warm us up. Was so nice! Curry &rice again for tea then an early bed again for me in the tent. The toilets are just a dug out hole - not too pleasant! No light pollution here so it's pitch black and the stars are so bright!! It's only 7pm & I'm shattered. I apologise if I haven't extra much. Not much signal in mountains so will update you all with my blog when I can. Another long days trek tomorrow and another night in tents :(( it's about 6•C outside tonight so I'm in for a cold one!!
