Just been bought a nice pint of ice cold beer by a lovely guy called Martin. Very much appreciated and it has slipped down my neck within 7minutes of having it handed to me. Not tipsy in the slightest *ahem* just looking forward to sleeping on the plane. Boarding now at gate 8. Goodbye England for a little while.

First train was easy going and 2 hours passes relatively quickly. The real panic started when I was told that my connecting tube was a 5minute walk away from the station I had just got off the train at. Once on the correct tube after a lot of flapping about I then FORGET to get off at Paddington and end up getting off at the stop after only to have to come BACK to Paddington again. Please note: *very very sweaty by this point* Now currently on train to Heathrow...

India eve - it's the day before I head off on my Indian adventure and I'm so excited, albeit a little nervous and a little queasy, thinking about my long journey ahead. I am all packed up - I hope - and have realised that my big backpack acting as my suitcase is horrendously heavy and will know doubt give me a bad back before I even get to the airport! Manchester to London, London to Delhi here I come :) x
