Mitchell Falls is pretty spectacular as is most of the Kimberley region.  There is a lot of aboriginal art here and lovely waterfalls.  We did another helicopter trip here over the falls and then extended to over the Kimberley coastline - the water is an incredible colour and there is no buildings or people - it seems beautiful, vast and lonely.  We drove to the area we flew over the following day on a rather harrowin 4WD track, with another family...

This is a photo of the main part of Ivanhoe Crossing - the top of the bollards are at 450mm and we had great fun crossing it both ways - Rich drove one way and Cath the other - the kids loved it. We then went on to some 4WD tracks to Middle Springs and Black Rock Falls - just surrounding Kununurra.
