Today was a 'rest' day.

I stayed home & cooked my sweet potato, potato, bacon & leek soup. Soup is a staple starter almost every day for lunch. Even though John & I usually eat this soup during winter, I made a thin version today for Cvita and in particular Milorad her husband to try. Milorad loves soups & happily eats a couple of bowls each day for lunch. The soup was a success with all the adults enjoying its taste & texture. Cvita asked for the recipe, so she could prepare it in future for her family.

Before lunch, John rode a pushbike up the hill to visit Mladen & chatted for a while.

Before tea we walked down to the Dunav (Danube) with Dragan to see the sunset & get some fresh air before having a relaxing evening at home which was enjoyed by all - with the kids being particularly well behaved.
