Tuesday I began to feel better. Again I went to class. Our Italian teacher informed that us that starting Monday, if we speak English in the classroom…then we have to sit in the corner. I just may never speak in that class again. Went to my other two classes and then made myself a salad for dinner, cause I was too lazy to cook. The girls decided to go out, but Kelley and I stayed in and had a little jam session.
Wednesday again went to class. During my break from 10 - 3:30 (like I have everyday but Monday) I walked around with sara while she took pictures for her photo class. It was nice outside, and it was nice to get out of the apartment. It's a nice apartment but theres 5 of us, and room runs out fast, especially because we all want to eat, use our computers, and do homework at the small central table, but it should be fine.
Had class from 3:30 to 5, after which I talked to my teacher. I had booked sicily for the beginning of November, which is when the fieldtrip to Spoleto with Early Christianity is. He told me that missing the field trip was fine, and that I would just have to read an article! This means I can go to sicily and poooooosibly Prague! I am VERY excited about that. Katy, Kelley, and I went on a walk to find more pashminas. We came home, and I cooked for family night! I do love family night. I doctored up some sauce and made 3 bags of gnocchi for katy, karole, sara, alex, and me. Carson and Kelley ate on their own. We had a few good laughs and then decided to finally try this nutella pizza they have at Quattro passi (the pizzeria across the street). It literally is warm dough smothered in nutella with powder sugar on top…heaven. After so much comfort food, we all studied because every Italian class had a quiz on Thursday. Katy and I did some studying and then I went to bed relatively early.
Today is Thursday, and thank goodness for that. I got coffee with katy and Kelley before class. The quiz in Italian was a PIECE of cake. Katy, Kelley, and I went to the bookstore and then read a newspaper on the steps in the center. I just made myself some nice warm veggies, and am about to read for my upcoming two classes. Tonight the guys are supposed to be cooking us mexian food at our place…that should be interesting. It should also be interesting because we all have a field trip to an organic farm with our Food and Culture class, and need to be at the bus station by 6:45am!
