This week was the week of Tigger and Geppetto!

Last Monday (1st November) I was Geppetto in Park 2 (which isn't very exciting in the slightest! No-one seems to like him much) and then did Tigger on DOUD for the first time! Luckily it was still "Halloween" so I didn't have to do the showstop, but it was still exhausting! Because he's so energetic I was trying to be bouncy all the time while still conserving enough energy for the whole parade route, but it's SO difficult! By the end my legs were weak and I felt slightly sick but it was worth it because it was a good fun character to do on parade. And I don't think I've ever been so red in the face! The sheer amount of energy you have to use for that parade, I might start stocking my locker with energy drinks so I can have one beforehand if I do it again! :P I'm glad I've done it though and I know to conserve my energy better next time

I worked a late CAF shift the Tuesday after that as Tigger. I felt okay about working it, except my stomach was still a bit funny from DOUD the day before and also when I got to the breakroom with my costume, I found that it was WET inside! I didn't know whether it was because it hadn't been dried by costuming properly, or whether it was wet from someone wearing it before me! :s Either way, it didn't make me feel any better, so I didn't particularly enjoy the shift but I didn't have to put up with it for too long.

I had the day off on Wednesday so just spent the day relaxing and cleaning the flat a bit. I got a notice through the door on Tuesday about having a roommate arrive on the 5th so I made sure I tidied the spaces I wasn't using and swept and cleaned everything for her arrival.

I was down to work a Woody's Round Up (WRU) shift on Thursday, but the only character I can do is Goofy which I'm in-apt from now, so instead I was Geppetto by the Festival Stage in Fantasyland and had a Gideon and Pinnocchio with me which was cool. I had a really good ACC too and so the day went well, but the breaks were quiet because there were only 6 of us in there (Belle was in there in her day dress with her ACC too)

On Friday I was working a SET/REP shift and I'd been puzzling over what it would be for for the last few days but in the morning I saw Kate from Tom Jennings' formation who also had it, so I suspected it was for Maleficent on Fantillusion Parade. And after being Tigger (again :P ) I found out that it was. In the parade, Maleficent stands at the top of a float and has quite a lot of playback that we have to mime to, and then halfway through the showstop, she gets lowered into the float and the dragon comes up so it's like the transformation which is REALLY cool! There's not any foot choreography so it's all arms which I find difficult to remember, but I got the hang of it in the end. The music is really cool too. It's the same music I learned Villain for on Fantillusion so I'm quite familiar with it, and I have a Fanti parade on my schedule next week which is really exciting! I can't wait! When I got back my flatmate's things were here but without her! She came back at about 9.30ish after going to the Bonfire Night fireworks in the Disney village. She's called Charlotte and is really nice. Her formation only has 5 people in it so it's very small and they're very small too, all Chip and Dale heights. We spent a while getting to know each other and she's lovely and friendly

I spent Saturday as Geppetto in Park 2 for the morning and then because I wasn't on DOUD, I changed to Tweedle Dee in Park 2 in the afternoon. The weather was horrible in the afternoon so we did our sets in the Art of Imagination building which shows you about the process and drawings of the Characters etc. so it was good to be out of the rain. In the attraction, there's a drawing class that goes on, and I waved to the teacher as Tweedle and he invited me in to the class! He then spoke (in French) to the kids about how I was a similar shape to Winnie the Pooh (who they were drawing at the time) and then asked me to come and write my name. However, because he asked in French I didn't understand so when he gave me the pen, I drew a smiley face!! Luckily because I was a silly Tweedle I could get away with not doing what he said! :P

Sunday the 7th was spend as Tigger on the All Star Express starting at 8:30am, BUT I accidentally overslept, waking up at 8:20 by accident! I rang Character 1 and said I'd be in around 9 and managed to get in at 9 bang on so I was quite impressed, getting ready in 10 minutes and out the door by 8:30. The shift was okay and I had quite a few friends on the shift too so it was good. After my shift I slept in the breakroom for an hour or so because I was waiting to do the dance class at 8pm which was Cardiofunk. After I slept I went into the park with Michael (who plays Chewbacca!!!!) and another friend Rob (who went to college with Charlotte) to watch the first Fantillusion of the Christmas Season, I took some photos and will upload them on my day off on Friday. Afterwards, Rob and I did the dance class which was very tiring but I felt very good for doing it.

I had the day off on Monday and spent the time relaxing and getting my washing done and spent nearly all day inside. The weather wasn't very nice so I didn't really want to go outside much. In the evening, my friend Lance asked if I wanted to go to the bar L'Agape because they have Karaoke and so I went and lots of my friends were there. I sang Lady Marmalade with Lance and Chewi Michael and I also did a solo, singing All The Jazz from Chicago. I was nervous and then another girl sang it before me! So I didn't want to but the karaoke guy persuaded me too and I think my version went down better than the other girls which was cool. A few people from my formation didn't know I could sing so they were a bit surprised (but pleasantly luckily!) I didn't get in 'til late but it was good fun.

I had another ASE shift yesterday and was Tigger again. I arrived on time and the shift went really well. I had a really cute Genie Lanyard girl who was blind and it was really sweet having her explore my furry head and hands and she looked really happy which was nice.

Today I was supposed to be Dee in Park 2 but changed with another Michael who was Tigger so I was Tigger again which I liked. I also saw Laura from Face Training who told me that my contact lenses have arrived! Which is really cool because hopefully my approval will be in a few weeks time and will be doing it soon so I can get lots of photos :D
