Hi,

Writing this penultimate blog (there will only be one more after this) from Changwon Hospital. I am killing time, waiting for mother nature to call. The boss drove me to the hospital early this morning to do a few medical checks, to satisfy the visa/immigration requirements for the upcoming year. I signed my new contract yesterday, although I was a bit rushed into putting pen to paper. The dates had changed, again to satisfy immigration. My passport expires next July, so a Visa can only be granted up until then, then I will have to extend. Although, I quite like the idea of only working unil July 2009 (!) My Criminal Records Check is in the post and I have a date with a consulate in Busan next week. So, by the time I leave Korea, on 23 August, everything should be sorted. I will give my keys to Garry and he can become me for 7 weeks.

The exciting news comes from home, where Kirsty gave birth to Lily Jean, at 6pm (BST) on Wed 13 August. So congratulations, and a remarkably stress-free birth by all accounts. Weighing in at 6lb 9oz, and not 9lb 6oz as initially informed, mother and baby are, as cliches go, 'doing well'. Can't wait to join everyone again back in Norfolk.

Well, it's only 8 full days left now, with one day to spend in Hong Kong, on the way home.

• I have deleted nearly all my videos in a mass purge of memories from the first year. Photos, however, remain on the site.

• I had to sign another new contract, the official one between my boss and me, which actually keeps me at Jungchul until 12 October 2009.

• I leave Incheon Airport, Korea, at 0830 HRS, Saturday 23 August, on flight KE 603, destination: Hong Kong.
• I leave Hong Kong, at 0845 HRS, Sunday 24 August, on flight NZ 39, destination London Heathrow.
  
• ETA: 1435 HRS, Sunday 24 August
