21/31 I didn't go to Seoul as planned, so I am at home this weekend, not able to make you jealous. Patience is a virtue and, luckily, I still have plenty of it, although I am, perhaps, not as patient as I once was.... time eventually runs out. Oh, well, passion going to waste, i keep going..
Not much to report, or maybe that is because i know that it isn't just my family who read my blog and look at my photos. I've nearly got 2,000 hits for my New Year trip. I realise that you get an initial surge of people looking, then it dies down... but I keep getting hits for that particular collection. They do include many shots of the first time I visited Namdaemun, which was recently burnt down. I think a few people from the English Conversation Group on Skype have had a look recently ... Ji-na, Lee to name but two... and as far as I am concerned it's a public gallery.. there is nothing to hide.
Oh, I figured out how to type Han-gul on my laptop now. It's a Korean keyboard but when I bought the English OEM my ability was disabled. Maybe, before the year is out, I can write a missive completely in Korean(!)
Not much to report... one more member of staff left this week, so there have been quite a few changes in personnel recently. I suspect that is not the end of it as a certain disillusionment seems to be creeping into some of my other colleagues. On a positive note, I heard that the Boss hopes that I will renew my contract. This didn't come directly, but by word-of-mouth. It's only Feb!
I have begun trying to vary my lessons a bit to make them more
interesting... i've bided my time and want to use the video room more, when possible. Put my editing skills to good use. Started with my IC Basic class on Friday, by using my Talent Market Day video, and I hope to do more of this in the future.
Anyway, those of you who want to contact me know exactly how to do it... may you continue to do so... although it would
be nice to hear from quieter ones.... you know who you are!
