Today was our last day in Jinja and so we decided to spend the day making the most of our last moments here. In the morning we went to the 'Nile Resort' for an all too brief relax in the sun and swim in the pool.

We then went into town again to have our last meal with John and Fidah at Flavours, and said goodbye to our favourite waiters, who we were now on first name terms with. We had a last chance to buy gifts and souvenirs for family and friends, and then met back at the restaurant to say a last goodbye to Fidah. Saying goodbye to our spiritual 'mother', who had spent so much of her time looking after us over the past 2 weeks was very emotional and really brought home the fact that we were leaving.

We then met Rachel from Plan UK, who told us all about the projects they did over here in Uganda and told us the schedule for tomorrow, visiting a primary, secondary and vocational school. It was great to hear where the money raised by LEHS this year was going to be invested.

We were also told we'd have an early 6 o'clock start tomorrow... so time for bed!
