Packed up camp and on the road by 9.30 this morning, aiming to drive 400kms to Normanton.
The road trip was full of non stop action (lie) as we passed multiple road trains and noticed the landscape alternating between green/bushy to barren pink/red rock.
Saw lots of road kill (including a wild pig & a red bull) and we had to be careful of the Brahmans grazing on the side of the road.
Note to self: when traveling at 90km and towing a caravan, don't spit out the window!
Stopped in Georgetown for lunch and purchased some thick homemade sausages for tomorrows lunch.
Tonight we are free camping next to a billabong with a nice warm fire and pink blue streaky sky.
Highlight today: counting road kill
